The Risk Managers Society of Nigeria (RIMSON) has today released its 2025 National Risk Outlook Report, which outlines the major emerging and systemic risks facing Nigeria over the coming 12 to 24 months. The report highlights five priority risk domains:

  • Macroeconomic volatility and inflation pressures
  • Climate change and extreme weather impacts
  • Cybersecurity and data breaches
  • Public health emergencies and contagion resilience
  • Governance, regulatory shifts, and policymaking instability

In her commentary, the President of RIMSON noted that proactive risk identification and collaborative mitigation are no longer optional, but essential for corporate and national resilience. The report provides recommendations for both public sector agencies and private enterprises on how to strengthen their risk frameworks, including stress-testing, scenario planning, capacity building, and cross-sector partnerships.

RIMSON will host a webinar next month to walk stakeholders through the findings and facilitate Q&A sessions. Watch out for registration details on our Events page.Exercitation tenetur.
